Artist Spotlight - "OBC"

Name: O.B.C.
Bio: From the tidewater area of Virginia born March 26, 1991 a young aspiring artist by the name of O.B.C. strives to be the newest rap phenomenon. The funny thing is he didn't start at an early age, when he was 17 he found that a freestyle in a friend's house would provoke him to pursue a professional hip hop career. Though he has not rapped long, he possesses rare skills that many artist lack; substance within his music, maturity, lyricism, and charisma. Promoting himself and passing out mixtapes all around his home state of Virginia he pursues his dreams and even won pick of the week on 103 Jamz Sunday Night Spotlight. A known project around his hometown which sparked a major buzz is his mixtape hosted by 103 Jamz D.J. Jack Of Spade titled "I Do This". That title speaks for its self by clearly stating his confidence and charisma in which he believes and shows his conquering skills on the microphone. Staying on top of the game O.B.C. knows his competition are constantly making moves and he makes sure he thinks ten steps  ahead by constantly writing and recording non stop. Dedication is a key attribute in the attitude of this young aspiring artist, the weekends that his friends and other social peers are out having fun and going to the movies or various activities, "where can you find him" in his bedroom writing and recording. Separating himself from average he not only writes and comes up with his own ideas for his songs, he also master(s) and mixes his own tracks. O.B.C. realizes that image also plays a big part in the music industry thus is why he markets himself as a clean cut individual, and the casual, gentlemen look by dressing in button ups and fitted jeans "not skinny jeans" as he would say rather than the baggy look with tattoos and gritty appearance. Be on the lookout for this young M.C. as he makes his mark in the music industry and if u haven't heard of him by now, u surely will in the near future.
