On April 19th, I took a moment to record a video rendition of The World is Yours as homage to my favorite artist and the classic LP Illmatic. Nas influenced my style early on, as I noticed we shared the same train of thought. I'm blessed to have grown as an artist in the studio with DJ Silk, who grew up with Nas, so he understood where I came from with my style. Through Silk, was able to be a fly on the wall between convos with DJ L.E.S. that gave me insight on how the Illmatic process and more came about.
